
Introduction
For the city of Nijlen we launched a brand new platform "Bekend in Nijlen", with this project a participatory interaction is initiated between citizens, companies, the landscape and the municipality itself.

Besides the creation of the logo and the new corporate identity, the main pillars of this project are a monthly magazine, an activity calendar, spatial designs and an overarching dynamic website where stories, interesting articles for all possible target groups and activities can be discovered.





Spatial design:







The website is about all aspects of life in Nijlen and for this purpose, residents are also called upon to come up with their own ideas. These can be activities, initiatives, tips and you name it. The website will only be able to live optimally if, like its little brother, it lives up to the slogan "for and by people from Nijlen". This will be communicated regularly and frequently through "get involved" pages.



Citizens, associations, traders, ... can upload their own activities and articles. These come directly into the Wordpress CMS. After approval by an admin, these articles are published. This relieves the website administrators and the content appears faster on the website. The calendar is linked to the Uit In Vlaanderen database to add activities through both platforms.
